Machmal ist es so laut und hektisch in der Welt, dass ich die Stille ganz besonders liebe.

Inspiriert davon hat sich hier eine kleine Bilderserie in die Welt gebracht: Out Of Silence- Daydream/ Nightfall/ Home

Out Of Silence

Dieser köstliche Moment, wenn sich Schleier heben und erste Gedanken eine Welt formen, die es zu beleben gilt. Die Stille, die so erholsam ist, bleibt immer da. Im Hintergrund. Und spürbar. So erfrischend, immer wieder dort hinein zu tauchen und dann wie neugeboren sich ins Leben werfen. Sprühend, frei und ungestüm, so, wie sich der Augenblick gestalten will.

Egal, was „aussen“ ist, innen ist man immer Zuhause.

Out Of Silence

This delicious moment when veils lift and first thoughts form a world to revive. The silence that is so relaxing, always stays there. In the background. And noticeable. So refreshing to dive into it again and again and then reborn into life. Spraying, free and impetuous, as the moment wills.

No matter what is „outside“, inside you are always at home.

Fly high

Flieg hoch. Fly high.

Flieg so hoch, dass du alles aus einer neuen Perspektive betrachten kannst.
Mit Abstand.
Das sage ich mir oft. Vor allem, wenn ich mich festgefahren glaube. Worin auch immer. In der Arbeit, einem Bild, vielleicht will nichts richtig voran gehen, oder andere Dinge scheinen erdrückend, undurchschaubar, stockend. Stillstand.

Dann hilft mir der Perspektivwechsel. In die „Höhe“ steigen. Nicht unbedingt wörtlich, obwohl ein Flug tatsächlich Wunder wirken kann.
Alles aus einem anderen Blickwinkel betrachten. Einem weiteren Blickwinkel vor allem.
Und plötzlich findet sich alles neu. Vieles verschwindet aus der Entfernung in der Bedeutungslosigkeit und ein „großes Ganzes“ wird sichtbar.
Und dann ist Stille
Und Frieden.
Ich liebe es.

Fly high.
Fly so high that you can see everything from a new perspective.
With distance.
I often say that to myself. Especially if I think I’m stuck. Whatever. In the work, a picture, maybe nothing wants to go right, or other things seem overwhelming, inscrutable, halting. Standstill.

Then the change of perspective helps me. Get into the „height“. Not necessarily literal, though a flight can actually work wonders.
See everything from a different angle. Above all else.
And suddenly everything is new. Much disappears from the distance in meaninglessness and a „big whole“ becomes visible.
And then there is silence
And peace.
I love it.

Weihnachten in Colorado, USA…Christmas in Colorado, USA

Weihnachten in Colorado,USA,

feiert die kleine süße No. 347 und macht sich reisefertig.

So aufgeregt war sie, dass sie kaum zu verpacken war, aber nun liegt sie warm und sicher in zartem Seidenpapier und weicher Luftpolsterfolie gewickelt in ihrem Karton und wartet auf den letzten Schliff.
Morgen sind dann auch die extra für ihre Sicherheit zugesägten Holzplatten abgeholt und einem DHL Kurier Pickup am Mittwoch steht nichts mehr im Wege.

She was so excited that she could hardly be packed, but now she lies warm and secure wrapped in tender tissue paper and soft bubble wrap in her box waiting for the final touch.
Tomorrow then the extra for their security sawed wood panels will picked up and a DHL courier pickup on Wednesday is no more obstacles.

Sold! „Bliss“ hat ein neues Zuhause!…“Bliss“ has a new home!

Gestern spät abends

kam die gute Nachricht herein getrudelt und brachte mein Herz zum Singen: Bliss hat in United Kingdom ein neues Zuhause gefunden und darf sich bald auf den Weg machen.

Vorher aber muss er sich wie all seine Bilderkollegen die auf Reisen gingen, mit säurefreiem Papier schützen und sich in eine warmweiche Schaumstoffdecke wickeln.

Dann bringe ich den großen Schatz sicher geschützt in die Verpackungsfirma, wo uns bereits die dann fertige Versandkiste erwarten wird.
Ob uns dann auch noch eine Zollabwicklung ins Haus steht, erfahre ich erst, sobald ich die Verschiffungsdokumente von der Saatchi Galerie erhalten habe. Wir werden sehen.

Ich freue mich jedenfalls so sehr und danke dem Collector aus vollem, freudesprühenden Herzen sowie dem ganzen Saatchi Team.

Bliss, bald gehts für dich nach Hause!

Yesterday late in the evening,

the good news trickled in and made my heart sing: Bliss has found a new home in the United Kingdom and is soon on the way.

But first he must like all his paintings colleagues who went on trips befor him, protect himself with acid-free paper and wrap in a warm, soft foam blanket.

Then I bring the big treasure safely protected in the packaging company, where we will already expect the finished shipping box.

Anyway, I’m so happy and thank the Collector from my full, joyful heart as well as the entire Saatchi team.
