Hach, was hatte ich einen Spaß beim Malen dieses Bildes. Von einer großen Leinwand, die ich zuvor noch fertiggestellt hatte, blieben mir die großen, farbgetränkten Pinsel und es war mir einfach zu schade, die viele Farbe auszuwaschen. Also nahm ich mir flugs eine neue Leinwand, legte alle Pinsel kreuz und quer darauf und malte beidhändig!

Rechts ein Pinsel, links ein Pinsel und es entstand eine muntere Kommunikation zwischen diesen beiden Pinseln…fast, wie im menschlichen Er-Leben. Der eine will hier entlang, der andre dort hin und immer musste man zwischendurch neu abstimmen: „Welche Richtung“, „Which Direction“.

Ich finde, die beiden Pinsel haben das ganz prachtvoll gelöst, schaut selbst:

Oh, what a fun I had while painting this picture. From a large canvas that I had previously finished, I had the large, paint-soaked brushes and it was just too bad for me to wash out all the paint. So I quickly took on a new canvas, laid all the brushes criss-cross on it and painted with both hands!

A brush on the right, a brush on the left, and there was a lively communication between these two brushes … almost like in human experience. One person wants to go this way, the other there and you always had to re-vote in between: „Which Direction“.
