Farbe, Farbe, Farbe. Wie ich das liebe.

Farbe auf der Leinwand, Farbe auf den Schuhe, in den Haaren, an den Händen und im Sinn.

Hier ein paar Impressionen aus meinem Atelier und von den Bildern, die sich gerade entwickeln.

Color, color, color. How I love that.

Übrigens habe ich seit ein paar Tagen einen Instagram Account.

Habe ich euch das schon erzählt?
Nach zwei Jahren „Liegezeit“ habe ich tatsächlich mein Smartphone in Betrieb genommen und wurschtel mich nun so durch.
Hui, so schön Social Media auch ist, es braucht doch viel an Arbeit und Zeit, um in Kontakt zu bleiben.
Ich bleibe dran. Vielleicht begegnen wir uns ja einmal?

After two years of „lying time“ I actually put my smartphone into operation and now I’m so muddled through.
Hui, as nice as social media is, it takes a lot of work and time to stay in touch.

Spring Fever

Spring fever

Je dicker die Schneedecke, je dunkler die Tage, desto größer meine Sehnsucht nach Krokuss, Narzisse, Tulpe und Co.
Geht es euch auch so?

Walking On Sunshine

Walking On sunshine.

Ahhh….um mich herum fallen die puderweissen, nassen Schneeflocken und tauchen die Welt in Wattewolken. Ich aber „spaziere“ mit südländischen Sommerfarben und schwelgerischem Sonnlicht über das schönste Leinwandgewebe, was ich je unter meinen Pinseln und Händen hatte.

„Madrid“ nennt sich das reine, besonders schwere Leinengewebe. 440g auf einen m2. Das lässt mein Künstlerherz höher schlagen.

Ganz von allein finden hier die Farben ihren besten Platz und legen sich sanft und geschmeidig auf das Gewebe, dass ich nur staunen kann. Die Pinselhaare küssen die Leinenfäden und beginnen einen zarten Liebesreigen und ehe ichs mich versehen kann, hat sich das Bild vollendet:

Walking On Sunshine

Ahhh …. around me the powder-white, wet snowflakes fall and plunge the world into cotton wool clouds. But I „walk“ with southern summer colors and reveling sunlight over the most beautiful canvas fabric, which I ever had under my brushes and hands.

„Madrid“ is the name of the pure, particularly heavy linen fabric. 440g on a m2. That makes my artist’s heart beat faster.

Like by itself, the colors find their best place here and lie down gently and smoothly on the fabric that I can only marvel. The brush hairs kiss the linen threads and begin a delicate dance of love and faster than I’ve seen the picture has been completed:

Eine Reminiszenz an das zurück liegende Jahr, jede Situation, die berührt hat, jedes Lachen, jede Träne, jeden Herzschlag.

Alles was geschehen ist, hat uns fühlen lassen, dass wir leben.

In Arbeit…In progress

Hach, ich schwelge derzeit in Farbe, dass ich hindurch schwimmen könnte, so sehr kann ich mich darin verlieren.

Zinnoberrot, Krappkarmin, Orange, Kadmiumgelb, Indigoblau und natürlich: Leinwand!

216x 212 cm liegt sie dort zugeschnitten und wartete auf die ersten Pinselstriche:

Hach, I currently revel in color that I could swim through it, so I can lose myself in it.

Vermilion, madder carmine, orange, cadmium yellow, indigo blue and of course: canvas!

Die ersten Farben fanden ihren Weg….

So schaut es inzwischen aus und muss erst einmal trocknen , ehe es dann weitergehen kann. Ich bin schon sehr ungeduldig…. und verliebt.
