Solch eine Freude im anhaltenden „Flow“.
Farben finden sich von allein an den für sie besten Ort. Gedankenstille. Mitgehen. Einfach mit allem, was sein will, mit gehen und schauen, was geschieht.
Diesmal wollte ich noch einmal das grobe Toulouse Leinwandgewebe bemalen. Roh, ungrundiert. Hier wirken alle aufgetragenen Farben dunkler und weicher in den Kontrasten.
Zinnoberrrot, Kadmiumrot dunkel, Krapplack, Indigoblau und Weiss habe ich wie in „Flow“ und „Flow II“ verwendet und doch ist hier, auf dem rohen Gewebe, die Wirkung völlig anders.
Schaut selbst.
Die Größe ist diesmal „monumentale“ 425 x 159 cm und kann nur noch auf dem Boden liegend bearbeitet werden. Mein Studio ist leider zu klein und niedrig, um solch großen Bilder hängend zu bemalen, aber ich arbeite ohnehin liebend gern auf dem Boden hockend.

Colors can be found by themselves in the best place for them. Thoughts silence. Going along, just with everything that wants to be, go with it and see what happens.
This time I wanted to paint once again the coarse Toulouse canvas fabric, raw, unprimed. Here, all applied colors look darker and softer in the contrasts.
Vermilion red, cadmium red dark, madder, indigo blue and white I used as in „Flow“ and „Flow II“ and yet here, on the raw fabric, the effect is completely different.
Look for yourself.
The size this time is „monumental“ 425 x 159 cm and can only be edited lying on the floor. My studio is unfortunately too small and low, to paint such a large pictures hanging on a wall, but anyway I love working squatting on the floor.

Farbe, Farbe, Farbe. Wie ich das liebe.
Farbe auf der Leinwand, Farbe auf den Schuhe, in den Haaren, an den Händen und im Sinn.

Übrigens habe ich seit ein paar Tagen einen Instagram Account.
Habe ich euch das schon erzählt?
Nach zwei Jahren „Liegezeit“ habe ich tatsächlich mein Smartphone in Betrieb genommen und wurschtel mich nun so durch.
Hui, so schön Social Media auch ist, es braucht doch viel an Arbeit und Zeit, um in Kontakt zu bleiben.
Ich bleibe dran. Vielleicht begegnen wir uns ja einmal?

Hach, ich schwelge derzeit in Farbe, dass ich hindurch schwimmen könnte, so sehr kann ich mich darin verlieren.
Zinnoberrot, Krappkarmin, Orange, Kadmiumgelb, Indigoblau und natürlich: Leinwand!
216x 212 cm liegt sie dort zugeschnitten und wartete auf die ersten Pinselstriche:
Hach, I currently revel in color that I could swim through it, so I can lose myself in it.
Vermilion, madder carmine, orange, cadmium yellow, indigo blue and of course: canvas!

Was ist mit der großen Leinwand…Whats about the big canvas?
Was ist mit der großen Leinwand,
die ich kürzlich zugeschnitten hab, fragt ihr euch vielleicht. Sie hat schon so einige Verwandlungen mitgemacht.
Ich glaube fast, es ist eine „reife Seele“, die Geschichte um Geschichte durchlebt hat. Vielleicht nennt es sich ja „Ge-Schicht-e“, weil es sich Schicht um Schicht aufschichtet…zu einem Bild, zu einem Leben? Ich zeige euch ein paar Impressionen von ihren Ge-Schicht-en und Verwandlungen:

I almost believe, it’s a „mature soul“ that has gone through history and history.
Maybe it’s called „Ge-Schicht-e“. because it builds up layer by layer … to a picture, to a life?
