Oh, mir ist so sehr nach Sommer. Nach Wärme, Licht und leichtem Wind, der den Duft von Lavendel und Zitronenblüte weiterträgt. Pure Energie und Lebensfreude. So, wie die Knospen im Frühling ins Licht bersten, mag mir jetzt der Sommer hervorspringen. Eine Kaskade in Sonnengelb, frischem Orange und weissem Licht.
Oh, I feel like summer so much. For warmth, light and a soft wind that carries on the scent of lavender and lemon blossom. Pure energy and joie de vivre. Like as the buds burst into the light in spring, summer may now pop out for me. A cascade in sun yellow, fresh orange and white light.

On The Wings of Freedom. Freiheit.
Gerade in diesen Corona Zeiten, wo sich im Aussen der Bewegungsradius so stark für uns alle begrenzte, wo selbst eine herzliche Umarmung zur Begrüßung nicht mehr möglich ist, um sich und den anderen zu schützen, bleibt doch auch hier eine Freiheit lebendig, sich in dem, was jetzt gerade eben ist, frei zu fühlen. Mit Allem!
Egal, was ist. Freedom. Nutzen wir unsere Freiheit, wir selbst zu sein und leben wir beschwingt, soweit es eben geht.
Especially in these Corona times, when outside the radius of movement is so limited for all of us, where even a warm hug to greet you is no longer possible in order to protect yourself and the others, a freedom remains alive here too, in that, what is right now, to feel free. With ALL!
No matter what. Freedom. Let us use our freedom to be ourselves and let us live exhilarated as far as possible.

Heute ist in Deutschland Karneval oder „Fasching“, wie man in Bayern sagt. Normalerweise herrscht ein buntes und „närrisches“ Treiben, aber Corona hat alles „Närrische“ vereitelt und die Feier und der Rosenmontagszug wurden abgesagt.
Aber in der Kunst macht niemand dem „Trubel“ ein Ende. Nein, alles ist erlaubt, ich kann „närrisch“ sein, wie es mir gefällt und male mir Konfetti in die Welt.
Today in Germany is Carnival, or „Fasching“ as they say in Bavaria.
Usually there is a colorful and foolish hustle and bustle, but Corona thwarted all the „fools“ and the celebration and the Rose Monday procession are canceled.
But in art nobody puts a stop to the „hustle and bustle“, everything is allowed, I can be „foolish“ as I please.

Hach, was hatte ich einen Spaß beim Malen dieses Bildes. Von einer großen Leinwand, die ich zuvor noch fertiggestellt hatte, blieben mir die großen, farbgetränkten Pinsel und es war mir einfach zu schade, die viele Farbe auszuwaschen. Also nahm ich mir flugs eine neue Leinwand, legte alle Pinsel kreuz und quer darauf und malte beidhändig!
Rechts ein Pinsel, links ein Pinsel und es entstand eine muntere Kommunikation zwischen diesen beiden Pinseln…fast, wie im menschlichen Er-Leben. Der eine will hier entlang, der andre dort hin und immer musste man zwischendurch neu abstimmen: „Welche Richtung“, „Which Direction“.
Ich finde, die beiden Pinsel haben das ganz prachtvoll gelöst, schaut selbst:
Oh, what a fun I had while painting this picture. From a large canvas that I had previously finished, I had the large, paint-soaked brushes and it was just too bad for me to wash out all the paint. So I quickly took on a new canvas, laid all the brushes criss-cross on it and painted with both hands!
A brush on the right, a brush on the left, and there was a lively communication between these two brushes … almost like in human experience. One person wants to go this way, the other there and you always had to re-vote in between: „Which Direction“.
I think the two brushes have solved that very well, see for yourself:
