Eigentlich glaubte ich die Leinwand beendet und firniste bereits darauf los…als dann doch der Pinsel hier noch etwas…und da noch eine Kleinigkeit…und hier vielleicht doch noch etwas ganz anders tanzen wollte.
So steht man manchmal daneben und schaut einfach zu, was werden will…schmunzelnd.

Actually, I thought the canvas was finished and was already varnishing … when the brush wanted to do something else here … and a little something there … and here maybe something completely different after all. So sometimes you stand by and just watch what will become … with a smile.
Ganz wunderbare Nachrichten erreichten mich gestern Abend:„Be free, dream wild“ macht sich bald auf den Weg. Es geht nach Great Britain, in sein neues Zuhause.
Solch eine Freude! Be free, dream wild konnte es gar nicht mehr abwarten, in sein neues Zuhause zu kommen und stürmte aufgeregt fast ganz von selber in sein Verpackungsmaterial. Nun liegt es schon sorgsam von warmem Papierschichten und Folie umhüllt in seiner großen Röhre und harrt der Dinge, die da kommen mögen. Nächsten Dienstag ist es soweit und die Reise beginnt.
Bis dahin braucht es noch ein wenig geduldiges Warten auf die erforderlichen Papiere, aber dann geht es los.
Quite wonderful news reached me last night: „Be free, dream wild“ is soon on the way to Great Britain, to his new home.
Such a joy! Be free, dream wild couldn’t wait to get to its new home and almost excitedly stormed into its packaging material. Now it is already carefully wrapped in warm layers of paper and foil in its large tube and awaits the things that may come there. Next Tuesday the time has come and the journey begins.

„Warum“. Dieses ewige „Warum“, wenn wir etwas nicht verstehen und wahrhaben wollen. Warum musste dies und das geschehen, warum?
Und es gibt nie eine zufriedenstellende, einen besänftigende Antwort, die den Geist zur Ruhe bringt. Auch das Herz bleibt oft in Aufruhr und trauert. Warum.
Und da fiel mir dieser Science fiction Roman von Douglas Adams, „Per Anhalter durch die Galaxy“ ein, wo jemand sagte, die Antwort auf jede Frage, das Leben und das Universum betreffend, sei: 42.
Um genau zu sein: Ein riesiger Computer namens „Deep Thought“, verbrachte genau 7,5 Millionen Jahre damit , über das Leben, das Universum und alles nachzudenken und verkündete schließlich feierlich, die ultimative Antwort laute. . . „Zweiundvierzig“.
Da hatte ich meine Antwort. Und ihr ja vielleicht ebenso für eure Fragen, die euch jeweils gerade bedrängen. Sucht nicht länger, hier ist sie. 42!
