Be free, dream wild….
Selten ließ sich ein Bild so lang bitten, bis es mir seinen Titel verriet.
Seit einer Woche schon wartete die große Leinwand darauf, sich euch zu zeigen und wollte erst einen Namen tragen, den es euch präsentieren kann. Schon hatte ich mich entschieden, das Bild namenlos in die Welt zu schicken, als es mir im wahrlich letzten Moment doch noch seinen Titel zuflüsterte.
Rarely has an painting hesitated for so long to tell me his title.
For a week already, the big screen was waiting to show itself to you and wanted to first wear a name that it can present to you. I had already decided to send the picture nameless into the world, when it finally whispered its title to me at the last moment.

In diesem Sinne: träumen wir wild und leben frei, meine lieben Freunde .Lassen wir unsere Flügel nicht beschneiden. Habt ein schönes Wochenende und genießt jeden Augenblick.

Tiny Art- Häusken…Tiny art- house
Gestern war mein „Ideen-Tag“. Ich kenne das schon. An solchen Tagen sprudeln so viele Ideen gleichzeitgig herein, dass ich gut schauen muss, welche davon sich nach vorne drängelt, um zuerst verwirklicht zu werden und gestern hatte das „Tiny-art-Häusken“ den ersten Platz erwischt und durfte ins Licht der Welt hinein.
Yesterday was my „Ideas-day.“ I already know that. On such days so many ideas bubble in at the same time that I have to look well, which of them pushes forward to be realized first and yesterday the „Tiny-art house“ had caught the first place and was allowed into the light of the world.
Vor etlichen Monaten schon hatte ich einmal solche kleinen, unscheinbaren, aber knuffigen Sperrholz Vogelhäuschen erworben. Zu klein, um Vögeln tatsächlich als Brutplatz zu dienen, aber witzig genug, um den Weg mit mir nach Hause zu finden 😀
Several months ago, I had once acquired such small, inconspicuous but cute plywood birdhouses. Too small to actually serve birds as a breeding ground, but funny enough to find the way home with me 😀

Und jetzt war es soweit, meine Pinsel strichen rechts und links und vorne und hinten, oben wie unten Farbe auf. Rot, Gelb, Grün und Blau, ein Sprenkel Weiss und Spritzer Schwarz. Ihr hättet mich juchzen hören können, sooo viel Spaß hatte ich und habe ich noch immer dabei.
And now the time had come, my brushes painted right and left and front and back, up and down in color. Red, yellow, green and blue, a speck of white and splashes of black. You could have heard me squeal, I had sooo much fun and I still have it.

Ein überraschender Fund…A surprising find
Ein überraschender Fund
manchmal ist das ja so, dass man ganz unerwartet auf etwas Schönes stößt und genau so erging es mir gestern, als ich im Atelier, ganz hinten, in einer dunklen Ecke, zur Wand gedreht zwei Bilder stehen sah. Ich hatte sie ganz vergessen und wusste längst nicht mehr, was ich da eigentlich gemalt hatte, drehte sie also um …und war ehrlich gesagt baff. *Wow*, dachte ich mir, das schaut richtig gut aus.
A surprising find
sometimes it’s so that you come unexpectedly to something beautiful and just as happened to me yesterday when I saw in the studio, at the back, in a dark corner, turned to the wall standing two paintings. I had completely forgotten about it and did not remember what I had actually painted, so turned it around … and frankly was baffled. * Wow *, I thought, that looks really good.

Wie lange stand es dort, unentdeckt? Ich kann mich gar nicht mehr erinnern, doch manches braucht wohl Zeit, um zu reifen…im Stillen, ganz für sich und jetzt leuchtet die No. 434 kraftvoll aus dem Inneren in die Welt. Schaut nur:
How long was it there, undetected? I can not remember anymore, but some things may take time to mature … in silence, all for itself and now the No. 434 shines powerful from the inside into the world. Just look:

Sommersonnensprenkel funkelt herein…Sommersonnensprenkel sparkles in
„Sommersonnensprenkel“ hat sich direkt vom gleissenden Sonnenlicht, das über die Strohballen auf den Kornfeldern am Niederrhein tanzte, auf die Leinwand gegossen. Hier fühlt es sich pudelwohl und sprüht vor Lebensfreude. Guckt doch mal:
„Sommersonnensprenkel“ which means translated something like „Summersunspeckles“ has poured directly onto the canvas from the glistening sunlight that danced over the bales of straw on the corn fields on the Lower Rhine. Here it is delightfully well and sparkles with zest for life. Have a look:
Jedesmal, wenn ich zu meinen Eltern fuhr und die dampfende schwirrende Hitze über dem Asphalt wabern sah, die Glitzerfunken der Sonne in den Blättern der Kopfweiden, die die Strassen säumten und auf den strudelnden Wellen des Rheins dümpelnd, überkam mich eine Woge des Glücks.
Every time when I drove to my parents and saw the steaming, buzzing heat billowing over the asphalt, the glittering sparks of the sun in the leaves of the pollarded willows that lined the streets and bobbing on the swirling waves of the Rhine, a wave of happiness came over me.
Manchmal muss ich nur die Augen öffnen, da sein, nur einfach da sein, das genügt schon um dem Glück wieder Raum in mir zu geben.
Sometimes I just have to open my eyes, be there, just be there, that’s enough to give room for happiness.
