Tanz mit Nietzsche: Die Reise beginnt/ The journey begins. Ready to dance..

Ich saß  so gern zu seinen Füßen und hab ihn einfach lieb: Nietzsche. Zart bedeckt mit knisterndem Seidenpapier bis über beide Leinwand-„Ohren“ lag er noch bis heute Mittag hier.

I sat at his feet and just love him: Nietzsche. Tenderly covered with crackling tissue paper over both canvas „ears“ he was still here until noon today.

Heute Morgen um 11:00  ist endlich die Zollfreigabe erfolgt und Morgen, zwischen 10:00 und 17:00 holt ein DHL Kurier Nietzsche ab und bringt ihn in sein neues Zuhause.

Nun steht er hier, Nietzsche, wohlverpackt in einer dicken Röhre und tritt seine Reise an. Ja, ich habe ihn zum Abschied geküsst, ganz sanft und einmal noch meine Hand zart über seine Oberfläche gleiten lassen.

This morning at 11:00 am the customs release has finally taken place and tomorrow, between 10:00 and 17:00, a DHL courier comes and brings Nietzsche to his new home.

Now he stands here, Nietzsche, well-packed in a thick tube and begins his journey. Yes, I kissed him goodbye, very gently and once let my hand slide gently over its surface.

Ich bin so froh, dass er in seinem neuen Zuhause strahlen darf, wie es in ihm liegt…tanzend, wirbelnd, munter, frei!

I am so glad that he is allowed to shine in his new home, as it is in him … dancing, whirling, happy, free!

Und wünsche dem lieben Käufer wirbelnde Freude im „Tanz mit Nietzsche“!

And wish the dear buyer swirling joy in a „Dance with Nietzsche“!

„Nietzsche“ tanzt nach Norwegen…“Nietzsche“ dances to Norway

Nietzsche tanzt nach Norwegen.

Ist das zu fassen? „Tanz mit Nietzsche“ hat ein neues Zuhause und wirbelt in den nächsten Tagen heim, nach Norwegen! Ins Land der Trolle, Elfen, Fjorde und Mittsommer-Nächte.

Was für eine Freude!

Can you believe that? „Tanz mit Nietzsche“ has a new home and whirls home in the next few days, to Norway! In the land of trolls, elves, fjords and midsummer nights.

 What a joy!

Wie sehr ich es „ihm“ gönne, das Zauberspiel der Mitternachtssonne zu sehen, von der schon der Autor Knut Hamsun in seinem Roman „Pan“ (1894) erzählte:

„Es begann nicht mehr Nacht zu werden, die Sonne tauchte kaum die Scheibe ins Meer hinab und kam dann wieder empor, rot, erneuert,

als sei sie unten gewesen und habe getrunken. Wie merkwürdig es mir in den Nächten ergehen konnte, kein Mensch würde es glauben.“…

So galt es heute, „Nietzsche“ reisefertig zu machen, ihn zart mit säurefreiem Papier zu bedecken und große, stabile Transportrollen bereit zu legen.

In den nächsten Tagen wird Saatchi sich bei mir mit den genauen Zieldaten melden. Dann geht es an die Zolldeklaration und wenn das alles überstanden ist, beginnt Nietzsches große Reise zu seinem neuen Besitzer.

How much I do begrudge „him“ to see the magic game of the midnight sun, of which already the author Knut Hamsun in his novel „Pan“ (1894) told:

„It did not start to be night anymore, the sun barely dipped the glass into the sea and then came back up, red, renovated,
as if she had been downstairs and drank. How strange it could be on the nights, no one would believe it. „…

So today it was time to make „Nietzsche“ ready for travel, to cover it delicately with acid-free paper and to provide large, stable transport wheels.

In the next few days, Saatchi will contact me with the exact target dates. Then it goes to the customs declaration and when all this is over, Nietzsche’s great journey begins to his new owner.

Ach, wie schön: gestern Abend erhielt ich die Email von der Saatchi Galerie, dass eines meiner Bilder in ihrer Kollektion vorgestellt sei. Ich freue mich sehr.

Ein zweites mal…A second time:  Email von Kat Henning by Saatchi Art: You’ve been featured in the Curator’s Picks of Work for $5000 or more.

Vor zwei Monaten hatte ich erstmalig die große Ehre, von der Chef Curatorin bei Saatchi Art, Rebecca Wilson, mit einem meiner Bilder in eine Kollektion aufgenommen zu werden und heute erreicht mich wiederum eine Email von Kat Henning- Saatchi Art, mit der Benachrichtigung, dass ich dieses mal sogar mit zwei Bildern vertreten bin.

Was für eine große Ehre und Freude.
Ich bin voller Dankbarkeit auch für die großartige Arbeit, die diese wunderbaren Menschen bei Saatchi Art leisten. *Danke*!

Two months ago, I had the first time the great honor of the chief Curatorin at Saatchi Art, Rebecca Wilson, with one of my images to be included in a collection and now in turn reached me an Email from Kat Henning- Saatchi Art, with the notification that I am this time even represented with two images.

Sold! Was für eine Freude…What a joy!

Was für eine Freude! Guck hier…mein erster „oranger Punkt“ bei Saatchi….What a joy! Look here … my first „orange dot“ at Saatchi.
So many thanks to Rebecca Wilson and her great team!

Gestern, oder war es vorgestern, bekam ich die erste Benachrichtigung von Rebecca Wilson, dass es einen Kaufinteressenten gäbe und bis heute Abend hat es sich dann hin gezogen, bis der letztendliche Verkauf tatsächlich getätigt war.

Yesterday, or was it the day before yesterday, I got the first notification of Rebecca Wilson, that there was a prospective buyer and until tonight it got pulled back until the final sale actually was made.
