Red…Rot

Rot

Im Moment haben mich die klaren kräftigen Farben wieder einmal gefangen genommen und ich genieße zutiefst diese herrlich leuchtenden Rottönen. Ich könnte darin baden, mich reinschmiegen und daran erwärmen.
Entstanden ist hier eine Bilderserie mit überwiegend tiefen Rottönen, ein Tanz von Zinnoberrot mit Karminrot, von Krapplack mit tiefem Cadmiumrot. Und auf dieser wunderbar bewegten roten Tanzfläche wirken Weiß und Schwarz wirbelnd und frisch. Ich glaube fast, sie tanzen einen leidenschaftlichen Tango. Sieh es dir selbst an.

Red

At the moment I have once again been captivated by the clear, strong colors and I am deeply enjoying the bright red tones. I could bathe in it, nestle myself in it and warm myself.
A series of images with predominantly deep red tones, a dance of vermilion with carmine red, of madder with deep cadmium red. And on this wonderfully moving red dance floor, white and black appear swirling and fresh. I almost think they’re dancing a passionate tango. See it for yourself.

Sold🔴! No. 108 geht auf Reisen.

Was für gute Nachrichten: Die wunderschöne No.108 hat ein neues Zuhause in London. Ist das nicht großartig?!

Noch liegt sie nass im Studio und hüllt sich in eine frische Firnis Schicht. Sie will schließlich gut aussehen, wenn sie im neuen Zuhause eintrifft.

„Black and White VII“in Saatchis „New This Week“ Collection

Vielen lieben Dank an das Saatchi Team, dass sie mein Werk „Black and White VII“ in der „New This Week Collection“ präsentieren.
Die gesamte Black and White Serie entstand aus einer Laune heraus, mich einmal abseits der sprudelnden und überbordenden Farbigkeit auf ein wesentliches Element an Farbe zu konzentrieren und trotzdem eine Lebendigkeit zu erschaffen.
Es hat großen Spaß gemacht, zu sehen, wie auch das Schwarz und Weiss mit starker Ausdruckskraft elegant ihre Geschichte erzählen.

Hier ist es nun: „Black and White VII“

Many thanks to the Saatchi team for presenting my work „Black and White VII“ in the „New This Week Collection“.
The entire Black and White series was created out of a whim to focus on an essential element of color away from the bubbling and exuberant color and still create a vibrancy.
It was great fun to see how the black and white also elegantly tell their story with strong expressiveness.

Somewhere

Somewhere– Irgendwo

Wo auch immer das sein mag, dieses „Irgendwo“- Somewhere. Es ist ein Ort, wo wir uns wohl fühlen, frei und leicht und unbeschwert…wo alle Wunden heilen, wo auch immer das sein mag. Für jeden ist es anderswo.

Wherever that may be, this „Somewhere„. It’s a place where we feel comfortable, free and easy and carefree … where all wounds heal, wherever that may be. For each it is elsewhere.

Don’t be boring

Lasst uns die Dinge so machen, wie wir wollen und nicht so, wie sie jeden Tag von allen gemacht wurden. Ich denke, manchmal brauchen wir mehr Selbstvertrauen und Mut, um so zu sein, wie wir sind.
In diesem Sinne: Don’t be boring.
Sei du selbst.

Let us make the things like we want and not how they were made everyday from everyone. I think sometimes we need more confidence and courage to be how we are.
In this sense: Don’t be boring.
Be yourself.

Blauer Weg- The Blue Way

Blauer Weg


Dieses Bild ist inspiriert von der herausfordernden Zeit der Covid-19-Pandemie. Einer Zeit voller Prüfungen und Schwierigkeiten, einer Zeit der Suche nach neuen Wegen, die Gesundheit, Glück und Sicherheit bringen.

Ich hoffe, es ist auch eine Zeit des Findens: Hoffnung und Glück in uns selbst zu finden, in den kleinen und den großen Dingen.
Ich glaube an das Licht am Horizont.

Blue Way


This painting is inspired by the covid-19 pandemic time. A time full of trials and tribulations, a time of searching new ways bringing health and happiness and safety.

I hope it is a time of finding: finding hope and happiness in us selves, in the small things and the big ones.

I believe in the light on the horizon.
