Strich drunter, Firnis drauf: Ein bunter Abgang 2025

Das Jahr 2025 packt seine Koffer – und wenn ich in mein Atelier blicke, sehe ich, was es hinterlassen hat:

Ein wunderbares Kaleidoskop aus leeren Farbtuben, Acrylspritzer an Stellen, wo sie definitiv nicht hingehören, und Leinwände, die Geschichten erzählen, von denen ich am 1. Januar selber noch nichts wusste.

The year 2025 is packing its bags – and when I look into my studio, I see what it has left behind:

A wonderful kaleidoscope of empty paint tubes, acrylic splatters in places where they definitely don’t belong, and canvases that tell stories I myself didn’t know on January 1st.

Ein Kunstwerk entsteht zwar oft in der Stille, aber lebendig wird es erst durch die Resonanz. Eure Resonanz!

Daher gilt zum  Jahresabschluss euch allen mein großer Dank:
All meinen Sammlern & Käufern:

Danke, dass meine Arbeiten in euren Räumen weiteratmen dürfen. Dass ihr ein Stück meiner Welt zu einem Teil eures Zuhauses macht, ist das größte Kompliment überhaupt.

An meine Galerien:

Danke für eure Vision, eure Kompetenz und dafür, dass ihr die Brücke zwischen meiner Staffelei und der Welt da draußen mit baut.

An meine Künstlerfreunde:

Danke für alle “ likes“ und „follows“ für Inspiration und Austausch über Pigmente, Ausstellungen und den ganz normalen Künstler- Wahnsinn. Ohne unsere „Atelier-Talks“ wäre die Welt nur halb so bunt.

Der Ausblick: Die Leinwand ist wieder weiß

Für 2026 wünsche ich uns allen den Mut, öfter mal „außerhalb der Linien“ zu malen. Seid nicht zu streng mit euch selbst, denn das Beste entsteht ja nur allzu oft aus einem „Hoppla“.

Ich stelle jetzt die Pinsel in das Wasserglas, den Champagner kalt und genieße die Stille vor dem nächsten großen Farbenrausch.

Kommt gut ins Neue Jahr, bleibt inspiriert und vor allem: Bleibt gesund!

Wir sehen uns im Licht des neuen Jahres!

A work of art often originates in silence, but it only truly comes alive through resonance. Your resonance!

Therefore, as the year draws to a close, my heartfelt thanks go to all of you:

To all my collectors and buyers:

Thank you for allowing my work to continue breathing in your spaces. That you make a piece of my world a part of your home is the greatest compliment of all.

Thank you for your vision, your expertise, and for helping to build the bridge between my easel and the world beyond.

To my artist friends:

Thank you for all the „likes“ and „follows“ for the inspiration and exchange about pigments, exhibitions, and the everyday madness of being an artist. Without our „studio talks,“ the world would be only half as colorful.

Looking ahead: The canvas is white again.

For 2026, I wish us all the courage to paint „outside the lines“ more often. Don’t be too hard on yourselves, because the best things often come from a little „oops.“

I’m putting my brushes in the water glass, chilling the champagne, and enjoying the quiet before my next burst of color.

Out Of Silence- Packen für New York

Immer wieder ist es so schön anzusehen, mit welch ungeduldiger Vorfreude sich die Bilderschätze reisefertig machen.
Geschwisterlich wird sich hier in Packseide, Schaumstoff & Co gelegt, schnell noch der Holzschutz umgelegt, der Karton sorgsam verklebt und nun Seit an Seit auf den morgigen Kurier gewartet.


Die Reise kann beginnen. Auf, ins neue Zuhause.

Gute Reise, Out Of Silence-Daydream/ Nightfall, kommt gut an und verzaubert euer neues Zuhause.

Again and again it is so nice to see the impatient anticipation with which the picture treasures get ready to travel.
Here, like brothers and sisters, they wrap themselves in packing silk, foam, etc., quickly put on the wood protection, carefully glued the box and now waited side by side for tomorrow’s courier.


The journey can begin. Off to the new home.

Have a good trip, Out Of Silence-Daydream / Nightfall, is well received and enchants your new home.

Aus dem Tagebuch eines Künstlers...;-)
Materialkauf ist ja eigentlich etwas, was zumindest mir als Künstler sehr viel Spaß macht und vor allem achte ich auf beste Qualität, denn das bin ich mir selber und auch meinen Käufern „schuldig“.

From the diary of an artist …
Material purchase is actually something that as an artist makes at least a lot of fun, and above all I look for the best quality, because I „owe“ it myself and my buyers.

So möchte ich gerade auch bei Keilrahmen keine Abstriche machen, da sie doch immerhin das hauptsächliche „Trägermaterial“ eines Gemäldes sind. Nun musste ich aber leider in den letzten Wochen dreimal die online bestellten gelieferten hochwertigen Keilrahmen reklamieren, da seitens der Herstellerfirma eindeutig „Schrott“ produziert worden ist.

So I just want to make even with Stretcher no concessions, since they are after all, but the main „carrier“ of a painting. Now I unfortunately had to complain three times in recent weeks the online ordered and supplied high quality Stretcher, since it has been produced by the manufacturer clearly „junk“.

Gerade bei den großformatigen Rahmen waren die Leisten an den Längsseiten aus mehreren- bis zu vier!- kleinen Holzleistenstücken zusammengesetzt und lediglich verzapft. Natürlich können solche „Verzapfungen“ schwerlich dem Druck einer gespannten Leinwand dauerhaft standhalten und demzufolge waren die Rahmen leider auch schief, verzogen und teilweise an den Leisten gebrochen.

Especially with the large-format frame were the bars on the sides of more– up to four – composed small strips of wood pieces and only dovetailed. Of course, such „tenon joints“ hardly withstand the pressure of a stretched canvas permanently and thus the frames were unfortunately also wrong, warped and partially refracted at the bars.

Sehr ärgerlich wenn man bedenkt, dass jede Bestellung- Lieferung- Reklamation und Neulieferung in etwa 14 Tage benötigte.
So werde ich in Zukunft wohl doch lieber wieder im Künstler- Großhandel meines Vertrauens einkaufen und live, vor Ort die Artikel begutachten, ehe sie zu mir in mein Atelier wandern.

Very annoying when you consider that each order- delivery- complaints and redelivery required in about 14 days.
So I’ll probably still buy in the future rather be back in the artist wholesale of my trust and live, on-site inspect the item before they migrate to me in my studio.

Aber etwas Schönes gibt es auch noch zu berichten: Bild No. 363 ist fertig 🙂

But something beautiful there is also to report: Picture No.  363 is finished 🙂
