Inmitten all der neuen in Arbeit befindlichen Bilder, fiel mir plötzlich dieses kleine noch unfertige Stück Leinwand in die Hand und wollte sich vollenden.
Manchmal ist es eben so, dass es Zeit braucht…der Stille, des einfachen Ein- und Ausatmens, des Seins….des Werdens, bis sich vollendet, was werden wollte. Dieses kleine Stück Freude aus der Serie „Brush strokes“ brauchte viele Monate lange, ehe es sich jetzt der Farbe entgegen stürzte…jauchzend, lachend, wirbelnd.
Amid all the new work in progress images, this little piece of unfinished canvas fell into my hands and wanted itself to accomplish. Sometimes it’s just so that it takes time … of silence, of the simple inhalation and exhalation, of being …. of becoming until completed what would be.
This little piece of joy from the series „Brush Strokes“ took many month long before it now throw themselves of color against … jubilant, laughing, whirling.

Die liebe Sirpa, eine unserer geschätzten Bloggerkollegen (http://sirpamononen.com/about/) , hat mich vor ein paar Tagen auf den Titel für diese neue Collage gebracht, als sie die Worte „Outside the box“ in einem Kommentar an mich erwähnte.
The dear Sirpa, our very appreciated fellow blogger (http://sirpamononen.com/about/) has given me the title for this new collage a few days ago, as she mentioned the words „outside the box“ in a comment to me.
Das ging mir so süffig ins Ohr und passte so ganz ausgezeichnet, dass mir sofort klar war, dass hier der sprichwörtliche „Topf“ seinen „Deckel“ gefunden hatte und ich gar nicht erst nach einem Titel für die Collage suchen musste, sondern ich längst gefunden hatte.
This went so pleasant to the taste in my ear and fits so very excellent that I knew immediately that here the proverbial „pot“ has found his „cover“ and I didn’t search first for a title for the collage because I already found it.
So muss es sein und ich sage hier auch noch einmal „Danke tausendmal“, liebe Sirpa, für deinen genialen Geistesblitz. So it must be, and I say here also again „Thank you a thousand times,“ dear Sirpa, for your brilliant brainstorm.

Diese Collage ist ein Ausdruck der Ermutigung, einmal „anders“ zu denken, über den Tellerrand hinaus, „Outside the box“, die Perspektive zu wechseln und neue Wege zu wagen, alte Grenzen zu sprengen.
This collage is an expression therefor that sometimes it needs a little encouragement to think laterally, to think „outside the box“, to change the perspective to follow new paths, beyond old boundaries.
Das “ getrocknete Geheimnis“ wird gelüftet….

Ich schrieb gerade schon an Olga, dass mir bislang Collagen nicht so recht nahe lagen und mir eher langweilig war, wenn ich nur daran dachte, so etwas anzufertigen.
Nun aber fielen mir so viele unterschiedliche Dinge in die Hand, die mehr und mehr Schönes und noch Schöneres mit sich zogen, so dass ich gar nicht anders konnte, als alles gemeinsam in ein Bild zu fügen.
I just wrote to Olga already that me so far not were collages so very close and I was rather boring when I only thought of to make such a thing.
Now, however, so many different things fell into my hand, which attracted more and more beautiful and even more beautiful with it, so that I could not help but to put it all together in a picture.
Alles fand mich, die ich gar nicht suchte….Papier, Objekte, Fasern, Farben….alles trudelte einfach ein und schien mich wie in einem ausserordentlich freudvollem Strudel der Kreativität mit sich zu ziehen und mein Lächeln wurde während des Arbeitens breit und breiter.
Everything found myself that I do not seek …. paper, objects, fibers, paints …. everything just trickled and seemed to pull me in such an extraordinarily joyful full swirl of creativity and my smile was while working wide and wider.
Ich glaube fast, ich leuchtete zum Schluss fast ebenso, wie die farbvollen Ergebnisse.
Ich bin gespannt, wie sie euch gefallen.
I almost think I finally shone almost as much as the full color results.
I’m curious to see how you like them.
