Das Leben ist ja selten nur „Schwarzweiss“ und hält so viele andere Nuancen bereit, die es zu entdecken gilt. Manchmal ist es aber auch spannend, sich auf die wichtigsten Konstanten zu konzentrieren, das Helle, das ohne das Dunkle nicht sein kann und umgekehrt.
Starke Kontraste und elegante Harmonie, jede Nuance im Schwarz und Weiß erzählt ein ganzes Kapitel.
Life is rarely just „black and white“ and has so many other nuances to discover. But sometimes it’s also exciting to focus on the most important constants, the light that cannot exist without the dark and vice versa.

Auch in dem „Un-Bunten“ kann so viel an abwechslungsreicher Lebendigkeit sein, dass es regelrecht „farbig“ erscheint.
Even in the „non-colorful“ there can be so much varied liveliness that it actually appears „colorful“.

Ein herrlicher Morgen mit strahlendem Sonnenschein und dieses fantastische „Out Of Silence- Home“ wurde pünktlich zum Frühstück an ein ganz wunderbares Sammlerehepaar in Deutschland verkauft.
Was für ein freudiger Start in den Tag. Vielen Dank an meine neuen Sammler. Ich weiss, der Bilderschatz wird es in seinem neuen Zuhause überaus zauberhaft schön haben.

A wonderful morning with bright sunshine and this fantastic “Out Of Silence- Home” was sold just in time for breakfast to a wonderful collector couple in Germany.
What a happier start to the day. Many thanks to my new collector. I know the picture treasure will have a magically beautiful time in its new home.

„Green Vibes“. Das erste Bild des Neuen Jahres 2024.
Grün, die Farbe der Hoffnung und des Neuanfangs, der Frühlingsfrische und der Natur. Sie begleitet mich durch die ersten Januarwochen und begrüßt all die guten Dinge, die dort auf uns alle warten.
„Green Vibes“. First painting of the New Year 2024. Green, the color of hope and new beginnings, spring freshness and nature. She accompanies me through the first weeks of January and welcomes all the good things that are waiting for us all.
Für dieses Jahr verabschiede ich mich mit meinen diesjährig letzten Arbeiten „Orange“and „The Orange-Dad Loves Orange“ each of them approx. 140x 160 cm.
Ein turbulentes und aufregendes Jahr liegt hinter uns, die Welt schlug so einige Kapriolen und manchesmal glaubte man, nur mit angelegten Ohren durch den Sturm zu kommen.
Viel gemalt habe ich diesem Jahr ebenfalls. Vor allem entdeckte ich meine Liebe zu großformatigen Bildern wieder, die ich lange Zeit aus Platzgründen hintenan gestellt hatte. Nun schwelge ich in Farben auf großformatigen Leinwänden und fühle mich pudelwohl. Gleich im nächsten Jahr will ich damit weitermachen. Die nächste Rolle Leinwand ist bereits gekauft 😄.
Es gab auch einige Bilderkisten zu packen und meine Werke fanden bei wiederkehrenden, aber auch neuen Sammlern ein neues „forever home“ überall auf der Welt, was mich sehr, sehr freut.
Jetzt aber wende ich mich erst einmal Plätzchenduft und Tannengrün zu und stimme mich auf Weihnachten ein. Die Geschenke sind verpackt, alle Karten geschrieben und auch die ersten Plätzchen sind genascht ( danke liebe Nachbarin für die leckeren Kekse!!)
Euch allen, Freunden, Sammlern, Galerien, danke ich für die tolle Unterstützung auf welche Art auch immer, die ihr mir habt zuteil werden lassen. Ich weiss es sehr zu schätzen!
Habt eine frohe und gemütliche Weihnachtszeit und kommt gut rüber in eine gesundes und glückliches Neues Jahr, 2024.

A turbulent and exciting year lies behind us, the world had a lot of twists and turns and at times we thought we could only get through the storm with our ears flattened.
I also painted a lot this year. Above all, I rediscovered my love for large-format images, which I had put aside for a long time due to lack of space. Now I indulge in colors on large-format canvases and feel completely at home. I want to continue with it next year. The next roll of canvas has already been purchased 😄.
There were also a few picture boxes to pack and my works found a new „forever home“ all over the world with returning and new collectors, which makes me very, very happy.
But now I turn to the scent of cookies and pine greens and get in the mood for Christmas. The presents are wrapped, all the cards are written and the first cookies have been eaten (thanks dear neighbor for the delicious cookies!!)
I would like to thank all of you, friends, collectors, galleries, for the great support in whatever way you have given me. I really appreciate it!

„The Orange- Dad loves Orange“, Acrylic on unstretched canvas, 137x 160 cm
Im Moment haben mich die klaren kräftigen Farben wieder einmal gefangen genommen und ich genieße zutiefst diese herrlich leuchtenden Rottönen. Ich könnte darin baden, mich reinschmiegen und daran erwärmen. Entstanden ist hier eine Bilderserie mit überwiegend tiefen Rottönen, ein Tanz von Zinnoberrot mit Karminrot, von Krapplack mit tiefem Cadmiumrot. Und auf dieser wunderbar bewegten roten Tanzfläche wirken Weiß und Schwarz wirbelnd und frisch. Ich glaube fast, sie tanzen einen leidenschaftlichen Tango. Sieh es dir selbst an. Series „Red“, „Red 2„, „Red 3“ und das wirbelige „RedViolet„ Acryl auf ungespannter Leinwand, jedes ca. 142 x 163 cm

At the moment I have once again been captivated by the clear, strong colors and I am deeply enjoying the bright red tones. I could bathe in it, nestle myself in it and warm myself. A series of images with predominantly deep red tones, a dance of vermilion with carmine red, of madder with deep cadmium red. And on this wonderfully moving red dance floor, white and black appear swirling and fresh. I almost think they’re dancing a passionate tango.
