Solch ein Versand in die USA dauert ja immer etwas, was nicht zuletzt auch am deutschen Zoll liegt, der die Sache wohl sehr gründlich erledigt. 😉
Natürlich hätte ich diesesmal für die Bilder auch einen „normalen“ Post-Karton verwenden können, aber ob der Versand dadurch viel schneller gewesen wäre, wage ich zu bezweifeln. Bei einem Versand in einer Kiste habe ich aber auch für mich einfach ein besseres Gefühl, da mir die Bilder so doch geschützter scheinen und ich möchte ja, dass sie wohlbehalten ihr neues Zuhause erreichen! Da bin ich auch gerne bereit, etwas „tiefer in die Tasche zu greifen“, aber kann des nachts ruhig schlafen 🙂
Such shipments to the United States lasts always something that is situated not least at the German customs, probably done things very thoroughly. ;-)
Of course, I had this time can use the „normal“ post–cardboard for the pictures , but if the shipment would thereby have been much faster, I doubt it. For a shipping in a wooden crate I have a better feeling for me simply because my paintings seem so better protected and I want so that they safely reach their new home! Since I am also very willing to „dig something deeper into the pocket„ , but can sleep peacefully at the night :-)
Aber inzwischen habe ich auch die Zollfreigabe bekommen und gestern sandte mir die Saatchi Galerie die erforderlichen Label, die nun noch aussen an der Kiste angebracht werden müssen.
But now I get customs clearance and yesterday the Saatchi Gallery sent me the required label which must be now attached to the outside of the wooden crate.
Also fahre ich Morgen noch einmal zur Spedition, wo derzeit die Kiste steht und übergebe alle erforderlichen Dokumente. Somit sind jetzt tatsächlich No. 306 und No. 115 endlich reisefertig 🙂
So I‚m going again tomorrow to the forwarding agency, which currently stands the case and give all the necessary documents. Thus, now actually No. 306 and No. 115 finally ready 🙂
Gestern hatte ich dann auch wieder einmal etwas Zeit, um die in den letzten Tagen/Wochen entstandenen neuen Bilder zu fotografieren und heute habe ich diese gleich bei der Saatchi Gallery gelistet. Wenn ihr schauen wollt, hier sind sie 🙂
