Fun like Pollock– Homage an Jackson Pollock
Fun like Pollock– Homage to Jackson Pollock
It was so much fun to paint this little „sweetie“ picture. Over many days it has been steadily changing and always new dressed until now came to the conclusion to pay tribute to Jackson Pollock.
Inadvertently. And with such fun.
And when the little sweet color treasure then hung on the wall as a test, I had to think very much of my artist friend Sam Radja, who created with great meticulousness wonderful spray painting.
Here you can find the little sweetheart *Fun like Pollock* at Saatchi and you can also see him hanging there on the wall:

What a good idea. I would have to see how I might get with my camera on a tripod. Otherwise, I only have the opportunity to take a photo after every image change. A few photos I would have from „Fun like Pollock“ still have, maybe I could show so in another blog post. Thanks for the inspiration and have a nice weekend 🙂

Yeah, this is where the professional speaks. 😀
I do not know that I have photographers among my friends who are equipped with cameras. If so, they are way too far anyway. Nevertheless, thanks for the inspiration and have a nice weekend 🙂

I’ve been away too long, Vera. Your work always inspires. It’s a beautiful homage to Mr. Pollack, but an even more profound homage to Ms. Komnig. I always find a joy behind your palette. There is something in your work which celebrates the authenticity of being, for which I am grateful to witness.

I LOVE this – I’m a huge Jackson Pollack fan, having been introduced to him in a modern art class. This is a wonderful homage – I love the colors, the energy, the three-dimensionality. Want more!
